The format of spin mechanics is a 3 and ½ day workshop with all presentations and several tutorials given by invited speakers only. All people who want to attend the conference need to present a poster for which an abstract has to be submitted. Approx. 90 places are available and registration will be first come first serve. The organisers reserve the right to upgrade the best submissions from poster to invited presentations.
The meeting is held in a beautiful setting close to Gerolfingen. In the Bildungszentrum Hesselberg, located on top of a mountain, all attendants can stay for the whole duration of the conference encouraging lively discussions but also evening get-togethers in front of the location. A low conference fee that includes housing and all meals makes the setting also ideal for students.
